About the role

  • support our Nuclear Projects team.
  • responsible for a variety of engineering tasks in the initial planning through final design for projects of advanced complexity under the minimal supervision of a Supervising Electrical Engineer.
  • responsible for initiating and developing engineering calculations, studies and drawings through completion in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project.

Requirements

  • Must have obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4 year ABET accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 7 years of post-graduation professional electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in power system analysis, including load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash and relay coordination studies.
  • Experience in SKM, ETAP or other Power System Analysis software.
  • Experience with electrical one-line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience in sizing and specifying electrical equipment.
  • Advanced level of understanding of power system analysis, lighting, power & control, grounding, lightning protection, communications and security systems.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, Revit and/or MicroStation.
  • Excellent oral communication and technical writing skills.
  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be a US Citizen. US Dual Citizenship may be considered.
  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Position may require travel.
