About the role

  • Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports for multi-million-dollar government contracts
  • Develop financial models and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and program profitability
  • Support contract pricing, cost analysis, and compliance with FAR, CAS, and US GAAP standards
  • Conduct quarterly Estimates at Completion (EAC) reviews and update booking rates in financial systems
  • Provide technical accounting guidance, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and indirect rate analysis
  • Collaborate with program managers and government customers to review funding status and cost drivers
  • Assist in preparing incurred cost submissions and act as a liaison for DCAA audits
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions to align financial performance with strategic goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance or related field
  • Proven success in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for contracts
  • Advanced financial modeling and data analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Knowledge of internal controls and audit readiness
  • Ability to lead cross-functional financial initiatives
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), State of Florida preferred
  • Experience in financial operations within defense contracting environments is preferred
