About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Technical support for workstations, printers and peripheral devices
  • Installation, configuration and repair of hardware and software
  • Support for server environments and virtualization
  • IT asset management (procurement, configuration, repair, projects, local budget advisory, license management, security systems and telephony systems)
  • Management of LAN and WAN infrastructure (including infrastructure testing)
  • User onboarding and offboarding — access and profile management
  • Logging and tracking tickets with a focus on fast resolution
  • Technical documentation: procedures, guides and knowledge base
  • Alignment with global information security policies
  • Implement best practices across sites and support end-user training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical education in IT, Networking or related fields (a bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus)
  • Windows and/or Cisco certifications (desirable)
  • ITIL Foundation is a plus
  • Previous experience in technical support (desirable)
  • Willingness to travel between sites
  • Knowledge of Windows environments (desktop and basic server administration) and server virtualization
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • Application and hardware troubleshooting
  • Fluent English (desirable)
