About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Technical support for workstations, printers and peripheral devices
- Installation, configuration and repair of hardware and software
- Support for server environments and virtualization
- IT asset management (procurement, configuration, repair, projects, local budget advisory, license management, security systems and telephony systems)
- Management of LAN and WAN infrastructure (including infrastructure testing)
- User onboarding and offboarding — access and profile management
- Logging and tracking tickets with a focus on fast resolution
- Technical documentation: procedures, guides and knowledge base
- Alignment with global information security policies
- Implement best practices across sites and support end-user training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical education in IT, Networking or related fields (a bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus)
- Windows and/or Cisco certifications (desirable)
- ITIL Foundation is a plus
- Previous experience in technical support (desirable)
- Willingness to travel between sites
- Knowledge of Windows environments (desktop and basic server administration) and server virtualization
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Application and hardware troubleshooting
- Fluent English (desirable)
