Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) Analyst I
AmcorMaintenance Analyst managing maintenance planning and requisitions for an industrial operation. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency and quality control.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act directly on the Maintenance Plan: create material requisitions, evaluate suppliers, control calibrations, approve inspection reports, open work orders, assist in expense control and inspect parts procured from third parties.
- Ensure adherence to the maintenance schedule by monitoring the progress of activities according to the timeline.
- Distribute internal PCM activities and participate in maintenance team meetings, prepare meeting minutes and perform follow-up on action items.
- Prepare reports and manage maintenance program controls, as well as update performance indicators to ensure the maintenance strategy is met.
- Follow up on materials and assist in preparing technical specifications, based on instructions and technical standards, for contracting equipment maintenance services.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of reliability and planning tools, maintenance control and management reports.
- Manage calibration activities and validate measurement reports.
- Assist in monitoring expenses by providing reports and notes on supplies and services.
- Inspect parts procured from third parties by performing measurements based on drawings, ensuring the quality of components delivered to the user department.
- Participate in and lead Continuous Improvement projects.
- Update Performance Indicators (OEE loss, MTTR, MTBF, MDT, Setup).
- Provide support to Production areas (Maintenance Planning and Control) and other group plants.
- Ensure completion of outstanding Safety and Quality issues (Se-Suit).
- Monitor ongoing tooling projects.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience; experience in maintenance within the food industry is a plus.
- Experience with Maintenance Planning and Control (PCM) routines.
- Knowledge of performance indicators (MTTR, MDT, MTBF).
- Experience and/or training in cost management and asset management.
- Knowledge of reliability methodologies such as FMEA, root cause analysis, fault tree analysis, etc.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- MS Project.
- Knowledge of SAP and PM modules.
