About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide on-site and remote technical support at customer and OEM sites across multiple packaging applications (e.g. VFFS, flow wrap, lidding, HFFS pouch, blister)
- Diagnose and resolve material, machine, and product interaction issues
- Deliver detailed service reports and share actionable insights internally
- Support packaging trials from initial testing to industrial scale-up
- Collaborate with R&D and customers to validate new products and ensure machine compatibility
- Gather and analyse key technical data to accelerate product development
- Drive troubleshooting efforts for quality-related issues, working cross-functionally with customers and internal teams
- Support root cause analysis, claim resolution and minimize business impact
- Contribute to new business opportunities by supporting technical trials and customer onboarding
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and internal stakeholders
- Manage your own schedule to meet customer and business priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering or scientific degree (or equivalent industry experience)
- 1–2+ years of experience in flexible packaging or packaging machinery
- Good understanding of converting processes and filling/packaging equipment
- Knowledge of packaging validation procedures
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of organization, rigor, and attention to detail
- Fluent in French and English (additional European languages are a plus)
- Willingness to travel up to 70% across the region
