About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively identify, target, and win new customer accounts across Germany within seafood, meat, and broader food packaging markets
- Execute structured prospecting activities (cold outreach, warm leads, events, trade fairs) across a large and underpenetrated territory
- Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and convert pilots into framework agreements and long‑term customers
- Lead commercial discussions including pricing, volumes, and contractual terms for new business
- Work closely with the Hamburg‑based Germany Sales Director to ensure clear territory and account ownership
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver competitive, customer‑aligned solutions
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting, weekly pipeline updates, and monthly forecasts to Germany leadership and Norway HQ
- Represent FBS/Amcor at key industry events, including fish international and relevant food industry forums
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years B2B field sales experience, ideally in food packaging, industrial packaging, seafood, meat, or cold‑chain environments
- Demonstrable hunter profile: clear evidence of winning new logos in a competitive B2B market
- Comfortable spending the majority of time in the field (3–4 days per week with customers)
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset
- Native or C2‑level German; working English required for group reporting
