About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You'll own product design at Ambrook and build your designs into the product autonomously.
- You're as comfortable prototyping in code and opening a PR as you are in Figma, and you treat coding agents as part of how you work.
- We care about your taste, judgment, and willingness to try things.
- You'll report to Jeff Anders (co-founder and head of design) and collaborate closely with Calvin Ku (product designer), Dan Schlosser (co-founder and head of product), Tiffany Yue (product manager), and Ali Aas (creative director), as well as many other diverse folks across the company.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have a track record of integrating with customers and experts to find untapped product opportunities
- You can take an idea from a sketch to a working prototype to a shipped PR
- You're fluent with design and AI tools, comfortable concepting a design proposal pitch, prototyping it into something compelling, and pairing with engineers or coding agents to build
- You demonstrate a pragmatic approach to taste and craft, flexing impressive interfaces while accommodating the unexpected constraints of industrial personas
- You're curious about and empathetic to the domain we operate in
- Your portfolio or presented works do a good job telling the story of your experience, skills, and craft.
