About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and oversee employee benefit plans, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, FSAs, HSAs, and other benefits
- Conduct new employee benefits orientations
- Assist with benefit selection during open enrollment
- Process benefit changes due to life events
- Resolve claim issues with insurance providers and address employee concerns
- Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, and federal and state regulations
- Coordinate with insurance providers and benefit vendors and monitor service quality
- Communicate benefit information through written materials, presentations, and employee meetings
- Maintain accurate employee benefit records, including eligibility, coverage, and beneficiary information
- Respond to employee benefit questions, provide plan guidance, and resolve benefit-related issues
- Report to the Director of Benefits and collaborate with the HR team on cross-functional projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience with Benefits is preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word
- Solid understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and vendors
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage complex benefit plans
- Proficiency with benefit administration platforms
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed recommendations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
