About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and facilitate structured Workday testing efforts, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Provide real-time guidance and coaching to testers to ensure accurate and thorough execution of test scenarios
Document, track, and manage defects and enhancement requests in Jira (or similar tools), including assignment, prioritization, and resolution tracking
Proactively identify risks, gaps, and issues, and drive timely resolution across stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across Workday modules, including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, and Learning
Support the Advanced Compensation build, including configuration review, plan design validation, and testing execution
Provide recommendations on Workday best practices and ensure alignment with business requirements
Identify and escalate configuration gaps, system limitations, or process inefficiencies
Review and validate training materials, including job aids, quick reference guides, and recorded demos for accuracy and usability
Provide actionable feedback to ensure materials are aligned with final system configuration and end-user needs
Support change readiness efforts by helping ensure a smooth transition for end users.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, with expertise across HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, and Learning
Proven experience leading or supporting Workday testing efforts (UAT, integration testing) in implementation or post-production environments
Strong experience with Jira or similar issue/defect tracking tools
Understanding of Workday integrations, including data flow, architecture, and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide non-technical users effectively
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams independently.
