About the role
- Own and deliver between 10–20 clinical product demos per month, tailored to specialty, setting, and buyer persona progressing at least 60% of demos to the next sales stage
- Partner closely with Account Executives to win deals by influencing account strategy and competitive positioning while capturing and synthesizing clinical intelligence from the field
- Act as the clinical subject matter expert throughout the sales cycle. You will translate clinical workflows, documentation needs, and CDI requirements into clear value propositions for prospective customers
- Lead VIP pilot trials by owning clinician onboarding, training, feedback collection, and success metrics
- Build trusted relationships with clinicians and healthcare leaders converting advocates into champions
- Feed clinical insight back into Ambience to ensure real-world clinical feedback directly shapes our go-to-market strategy
- Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and implementation teams to influence demos, messaging, and roadmap decisions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, which may include clinical practice, clinical consulting, clinical informatics, implementation, pre-sales, or other roles requiring direct interaction with healthcare stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience presenting complex clinical or technical concepts to diverse audiences, including clinicians, operational leaders, and executives, both virtually and in person.
- Experience supporting or influencing sales cycles, including participating in product demonstrations, pilot programs, evaluations, or clinical validations that contributed to deal progression or adoption decisions.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, or implementation teams to translate clinical requirements into product positioning, workflow design, or go-to-market strategy.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and have a track record of taking ownership of initiatives from definition through execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to build credibility and trust with clinical stakeholders through clear, accurate, and practical guidance.
