About the role

  • Own the critical layer between Paynest's platform and clients, across onboarding, client setup, integration support, and product feedback.
  • Guide new clients through onboarding, integration setup, and technical activation.
  • Serve as the first technical point of contact for customer-facing questions or light issues.
  • Capture and relay product feedback, friction points, and feature requests to the Product team.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, onboarding flows, and internal tooling.
  • Act as a technical partner to Customer Success and Product teams, building trust and shaping the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Technically sharp, with experience building or supporting B2B SaaS products (1–3 years).
  • Highly empathetic and client-oriented—you think in terms of solutions, not tickets.
  • Comfortable in both async and live client communication (calls, Loom, Slack, Notion, etc).
  • Process-driven and organized—you don’t let details slip through.
  • Ready to grow into a hybrid role (Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Engineering, or Product).
  • Nice to Have: Experience with API integrations, light scripting, and/or tools like Postman, Segment, Intercom.
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to fintech, expense management, payroll, or HR tools.
  • Nice to Have: Familiarity with debugging logs, frontend inspection, and internal tooling systems.
