About the role

  • You independently manage the accounting function (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets accounting, and payment transactions).
  • You assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, as well as the preparation of financial reports.
  • You coordinate and execute the entire procurement process — from requirements identification through purchasing to invoice verification.
  • You maintain and optimize processes in Accounting & Procurement, for example by implementing digital workflows.
  • You serve as the point of contact for external service providers, tax advisors, and auditors.
  • You manage contracts and supplier relationships and ensure they are kept up to date.
  • You support budget and cost management.
  • You contribute to the development of internal control systems and compliance matters.

Requirements

  • You have a degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling, or a comparable qualification (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau / industrial clerk).
  • You have initial professional experience in accounting and/or procurement — ideally in a fast-growing, digital environment.
  • You are comfortable using modern tools such as Qonto, Moss, DATEV, Personio, and similar systems.
  • You think analytically and work in a structured and conscientious manner.
  • You communicate confidently and reliably in German and English with various stakeholders.
