About the role

  • You will support the founders in preparing and executing fundraising processes.
  • This includes developing compelling pitch decks and storylines, maintaining and expanding the investor pipeline, and identifying and reaching out to relevant VCs, business angels and strategic partners.
  • You will analyze markets, target segments, trends and competitors in the AI and SaaS space, derive opportunities and risks, and develop data-driven recommendations and decision frameworks for the founding team.
  • In close collaboration with internal teams you will prepare presentations for investor meetings, board meetings and external stakeholders that are concise and data-driven.
  • You will help build and maintain a lean, scalable toolchain — including HubSpot, Crunchbase, Google Analytics and Make/Zapier — to enable data-driven decisions and create transparency in the fundraising process.

Requirements

  • You bring entrepreneurial understanding and a relevant background, e.g., a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, finance or similar.
  • You have experience in fast-paced, demanding startups and apply a structured, organized approach to problem-solving: highly analytical but also hands-on in execution.
  • Ideally, you have experience in the investment environment, e.g., as an analyst or intern at a VC, private equity fund, family office or investor team, and understand fundraising requirements first-hand.
  • You are confident working with data, deriving insights and making fact-based decisions.
  • Tools and automations are a natural part of your work (e.g., HubSpot, Crunchbase, Google Analytics, Make/Zapier).
  • Your German and English are flawless and you can distill complex topics into clear, understandable materials, create persuasive documents and moderate discussions with investors at C-level.
  • You think ahead, prioritize consistently, contribute your own ideas and maintain a balance of speed and quality with a strong focus on results and attention to detail.
