About the role

  • You will be responsible for the link between the acquisitions and operations teams through the processes of new business, renewal, upsell and cross-sell.
  • You will work in collaboration with the Client Success team and the wider business who are accountable and responsible for ensuring that all service challenges are known and understood.
  • You will invest time to build long-lasting relationships with your key contacts at each of your customers, regularly ensuring that you do regular relationship building activities.
  • As a key collaborator, you’ll work with the other parts of the business, such as commercial to understand the current requirements of the customer as well as future growth opportunities in light of our current and future product offering.
  • You’ll be a willing to learn and become a credible and knowledgeable representative of Amber with a strong knowledge of both the energy and property industries.
  • Work with the Property team to identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Passion for the property industry, either direct or very close into the sector.
  • Willingness to learn about the property/utilities sector with a passion for sustainability.
  • Show a history of delivering growth targets in a sales and account management capacity in the utilities and or property industries.
  • Someone who thrives in a results oriented, customer centred environment, where relationships are critical to success.
  • An ability to speak up in order to make the complex simple, dissolving the complexity of utilities for our customers to enable them to better understand our products and services.
  • An ability to empathise and assimilate into the view of the customer to leverage the best outcomes for them from our internal teams.
  • An incredible ‘people person’ who builds strong long-lasting relationships quickly be that with customers, their team or the broader company.
