About the role
- Support and enhance Lubrizol's global Procure to Pay (PTP) and Record to Report (RTR) processes as a specialist, with a primary focus on Procurement, Finance, Costing, Tax, and Localization solutions for Brazil and Mexico.
- Leverage deep knowledge of procurement and financial operations, tax calculation, and compliance reporting within the Brazilian and Mexican legislative environments.
- Engage with business stakeholders worldwide to ensure alignment and support between strategic priorities, technical domains, and globally standardized practices, while ensuring local and regional requirements are met.
Requirements
- Analyze, configure, test, deploy, and support SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions focused on PTP and RTR, particularly related to Procurement, Finance, and Tax processes for Brazil and Mexico (including Nota Fiscal, CFDI, SPED, and related regulatory reporting).
- Recommend improvements to business processes and technology enablement, particularly around local tax compliance and statutory reporting.
- Ensure accurate localization of SAP solutions to meet Brazilian and Mexican legal and tax requirements, including tax calculation engines, e-invoicing, and withholding tax management.
- Develop standard business process designs, and configure, test, deploy, and support SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions along with any add-ons for all procurement processes.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with Procurement, Finance, Tax, IT Business Partners, Senior Leadership, and other business stakeholders.
- Resolve integration touchpoints between RTR, Procure to Pay (PTP), Order to Cash (OTC), and Treasury processes to ensure they are properly addressed.
- Support daily operations for SAP Procurement, Finance, and Tax processes, including troubleshooting, user support, and change management.
- Make decisions appropriate to the level of influence within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align local and statutory tax requirements with global standard processes.
- Use technical and functional knowledge to support Procurement, Finance, and Tax initiatives.
- Participate in or lead implementation or upgrade projects, tax localization, and compliance solutions.
