About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, manage, and implement volunteer-led program strategy for Alzheimer’s Association
Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to deliver and grow programs
Ensure accountability by regularly monitoring volunteer impact
Manage high-impact community partners and expand collaborative agreements
Lead efforts regarding community-based conferences and manage planning committees
Promote Alzheimer’s Association campaigns and create urgency
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of program and community impact data

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in programs, volunteer and/or team management
Experience in community health and community volunteer mobilization a plus
Proven success in building and maintaining key relationships and meeting strategic goals through volunteer-led initiatives
Familiarity with public health approach focused on health promotion and early detection
Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office products, Google Suite, and social media; experience with Luminate/Convio software preferred.
Valid driver’s license, access to reliable vehicle, good driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
