About the role
- Lead a talent-dense, US-based team tasked with automating workflows across our SaaS platform.
- Guide the technical direction of our AI initiatives and mentor a team of engineers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver innovative solutions that optimize freight transportation logistics.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focusing on machine learning, AI, and data science.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying ML models and AI solutions at scale.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java, with strong knowledge of ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and deploying AI/ML solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with a focus on AI and ML project execution.
- Strong understanding of data engineering and the ability to work with large-scale data processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with Azure ML services, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment.
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry, providing insight into industry-specific challenges and opportunities for AI applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver impactful AI solutions.
