About the role
- Establish and manage the company’s error resolution function in alignment with Regulation E and applicable state consumer protection statutes.
- Review and approve client products, services, and workflows for compliance with consumer protection regulations.
- Escalate immediately any potential UDAAP, Reg E, or consumer harm risks per company policy.
- Review marketing materials, mobile apps, and websites for compliance with UDAAP and applicable federal/state laws.
- Collaborate with Legal, and Product teams during new product launches to validate required disclosures and consumer-facing workflows.
- Partner with the Third-Party Risk team to ensure due diligence and monitoring requirements are implemented.
- Coordinate regulatory exams and independent audits of consumer compliance areas.
- Maintain Alviere’s licensing portfolio and ensure state-level requirements are met on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate and Process Advance Change Notifications of Control (new investors, new and removal of Control Persons or Directors from the Company).
Requirements
- 5+ years of compliance experience, with a focus on consumer protection, UDAAP, and CFPB-regulated products
- Understanding of Reg E, FCRA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and other CFPB Regulations A–Z
- Demonstrated ability to identify regulatory risk, communicate findings to executives, and recommend solutions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
