About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Uphold strict client confidentiality protocols
Provide information to clients regarding the viability of pursuing litigation
Retain counsel upon client’s request
Advise clients regarding the attorney’s legal strategy
Monitor attorneys assigned to files to ensure they are aggressively pursuing damages and report to the client accordingly
Ensure timely remittance of funds collected by attorneys
Prepare demands, including balance verification, obtaining supporting documents from client files, and forwarding demands to law firms
Work directly with lawyers to research and prepare documents, briefs, and other case aspects prior to trial

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred knowledge of the civil legal process and/or commercial collections
Salesforce expertise a huge plus
Demonstrate an understanding of the urgency required to maximize recoveries
Good computer skills
Strong customer service experience
Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work proactively and be resourceful
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse set of personalities
Strong client focus
Self-starter with a desire to grow/learn
