Key responsibilities & impact

Point of contact for clients on assigned files
Current knowledge of all relevant State and Federal law.
Review of all files to identify legal theories of subrogation or right of recovery.
Sending appropriate letters on all new events.
Knowledge and application of proper file handling procedures in accordance with Best Practices, Compliance and Quality Assurance standards.
Maintain up to date file documentation of claim status as well as status of any pending litigation involving the tort claim or a derivative of the same in every event.
Resolve all files for maximum recovery value through advanced negotiation techniques.
Produce settlement screens on all resolved events in accordance with Best Practices for File Handling.
Draft or generate any and all settlement documents needed to conclude payment on files and closure of same.
Insure clients are kept up to date on progress of each claim.

What you’ll need

One or more active law licenses
Minimum of one year work experience within in the insurance industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven negotiation ability.
Good working knowledge of tort law and civil procedure.
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Ability to appropriately and professionally represent Trover Solutions’ clients in settlement negotiations and conferences.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Strong motivation and desire to maximize results for Trover Solutions clients.
Ability to be creative in formulating arguments to maximize recovery results.
