About the role
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales tactics as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment of business goals.
- Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews with sales staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of at least 3 years of sales experience.
- A thorough understanding of their clients' businesses and the industry they operate in.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build rapport and close deals.
- Strong ability to analyze data and metrics to guide strategy and decision-making.
- Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to manage client data and sales activities.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple tasks and manage a large portfolio of accounts.
- Must be able to travel 4-5 days per month on average.
