About the role

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales tactics as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment of business goals.
  • Conduct regular field visits and performance reviews with sales staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum of at least 3 years of sales experience.
  • A thorough understanding of their clients' businesses and the industry they operate in.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build rapport and close deals.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and metrics to guide strategy and decision-making.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to manage client data and sales activities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple tasks and manage a large portfolio of accounts.
  • Must be able to travel 4-5 days per month on average.
