About the role
- Oversee daily operations of an assisted living senior living community
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the community
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and quality standards
- Manage and monitor budgets to achieve financial objectives and meet revenue goals while managing expenses
- Recruit, train, and retain a talented and engaged team
- Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and referral sources
- Foster a culture of respect, service excellence, and collaboration
- Inspire team, set community culture, and ensure high standards of care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience as an Executive Director in Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Home Care
- Knowledge of state regulations governing senior living communities
- Administrator’s license, if required by the state
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
