About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform at least two rental and retail department functions, including cashiering, rental ski and binding fitting, demo ski and binding fitting and sales, and/or retail soft goods sales
Adjust bindings using standard hand tools and a binding testing machine
Switch roles frequently within a single shift in fast-paced shops
Retain and relay product and rental-equipment safety information to customers
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Interact positively with guests, coworkers, and management
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 18 years of age
2 years of previous work history/education required
Guest service experience required
Previous computer experience required, including Windows and Microsoft Office
May be required to pass ski binding certification program
Must maintain a neatly groomed appearance
Adherence to all safety policies
Knowledge of the ski industry preferred
Ability to interact positively with guests, coworkers, and management
Ability to lift skis weighing approximately 20–30 lbs. frequently
Ability to communicate clearly in English
Ability to work in restricted work spaces
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to bend or kneel while fitting multiple pairs of boots and skis
Cash handling experience preferred
