Financial Delinquency Prevention Advisor

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish proactive contact with clients via phone (inbound and outbound), email, and SMS;
- Build a trusting, human, professional, and respectful relationship;
- Assess clients’ financial situations to quickly identify risks and issues;
- Propose and negotiate realistic, sustainable, and tailored payment solutions;
- Raise clients’ awareness of the impacts of their decisions and guide them toward the best options;
- Manage a prioritized caseload effectively with a prevention-focused approach;
- Ensure rigorous follow-up and document every interaction in a compliant manner;
- Apply internal policies and comply with provincial laws and regulations;
- Contribute to the preparation of legal documents when required;
- Meet quality and performance standards;
- Collaborate with an engaged team focused on coaching and continuous improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You are fully bilingual, both written and spoken, and comfortable communicating with clients through various channels;
- You hold a DEC (or equivalent relevant qualification/training);
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or client account management;
- You stand out for your interpersonal skills, active listening, and professionalism;
- You can conduct negotiations with tact, confidence, and empathy, proposing appropriate solutions;
- You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and can manage multiple files simultaneously with rigor;
- You are autonomous, proactive, and able to adapt quickly to change and complex situations;
- You have a customer-service orientation and focus on finding sustainable solutions;
- You can establish trust and support clients with respect and empathy;
- You enjoy teamwork and contribute positively to a collaborative environment;
- You are comfortable with technology and systems used in the financial sector.
