About the role

  • Deliver cyber security activities within a product environment across the engineering lifecycle
  • Produce and maintain cyber risk assessment reports
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks at product and system level
  • Support engineering teams to ensure cyber requirements are embedded into product design
  • Contribute to design reviews, audits, and cyber assurance activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cyber security within a product or system engineering environment
  • Strong experience producing risk assessment and threat analysis reports
  • Understanding of cyber risk management frameworks and secure-by-design principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
  • Demonstrable experience delivering cyber security activities on complex products or systems
  • Knowledge of cyber security standards and governance frameworks
  • Knowledge of ED-202A and ED-203A aerospace cyber security standards (desirable)
  • Experience working on aerospace or aviation engineering projects (desirable)
  • Familiarity with safety-critical or regulated engineering environments (desirable)
