Engineer

• Executing virtual assembly simulations that analyze automotive operator assembly processes to reduce risk, improve safety, and optimize efficiency before physical production begins.
• Conducting realistic virtual assembly trials (digital human modeling) and validating workstation processes using Siemens Process Simulate, motion capture, and virtual reality tools.
• Simulating operators of varying anthropometric percentiles and evaluating reach, vision, and clearance for consistent job performance across the workforce.
• Close collaboration with program specialists and engineers across disciplines including industrial engineering, product engineering, feasibility, logistics, workplace integration, tooling, ergonomics/safety.
• Incorporating operator feedback to visualize and validate future operations and product builds, enabling planning teams to make informed decisions early when changes are cost-effective.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to human factors and workstation design by applying ergonomics, industrial engineering principles, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) guidelines.

Virtual Assembly Simulation Engineer

Mechanical Engineer

• Develop, test, and lead mechanical designs, including trade studies, concept and detailed designs, BOMs, drawings, engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and associated documentation.
• Lead the Mechanical Engineering team within a project, serving as the primary resource for technical leadership, oversight, and development. Identify and recommend training or performance improvement opportunities as needed.
• Ensure technical accuracy and maintain scoped product or system features.
• Define work breakdown structures from initial specifications and/or derived requirements.
• Track team progress and efficiency to support project schedule and budget.
• Implement product designs using engineering principles and standard tools.
• Utilize analysis tools to verify design concepts.
• Assemble, test, and evaluate prototypes for functionality and performance.
• Anticipate technical uncertainties and identify design and product risks with appropriate mitigations.
• Identify scope changes and propose resolution options to project leaders.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving within project-level engineering.
• Follow technical lead guidance and collaborate effectively within the team.

Mechanical Engineer II

• Perform Control System inspections of electromechanical equipment/rotating equipment with Clients and client-designated representatives.
• Lead and/or assist customers with Electrical and/or Instrumentation requirements (space, labor requirements, tools, disposal of test water, etc..) to support commissioning activities, operational/startup spares and Operating and Maintenance Practices.
• Participated in Customer Factory Acceptance Tests and related Control Systems reviews.
• Perform on-site programming for control systems and assist on electrical installation and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with Automation and E&amp;I Leaders regarding project execution and continuous improvement.

PLC Engineer – Traveling

• Conceptual design development, detailed design, and production release of Body interior components, IP, Console, Doors, Hard, and Soft trim.
• Create CAD surfaces and solids, GD&T, and fastening design using Catia V6.
• Manage system, subsystem, and component information in the Enovia PLM and Catia V6 environment.
• Ensure all geometric requirements for milestone delivery are analyzed and met.
• Interface with studio, packaging, advanced engineering, manufacturing, and supplier activities to develop optimal design solutions.
• Be a champion of good, fundamental design in the exterior system and across the vehicle.
• Supporting the development of best practices for design and engineering.

CAD Engineer, Interior Trim

• Create engineering studies of concept, package, lay out within vehicle in early development stages & internal in-house projects.
• Design components and products according to system targets for craftsmanship, function, cost, efficiency, weight.
• Manage parts from initial design to prototype phase, and serial production.
• Create & responsible for engineering documentation such as TES’s (Tech. Spec’s), DFMEA’s (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and DVP’s (Design Verification Plan).
• Coordinate testing and validation activities with tier 1 and internally with vehicle validation.
• Manage EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials).
• Manage and track suppliers' activities to successfully complete product development, validation all the way through series production.
• Design CAD models to comply with internal deliverables and support tier-1 supplier when required, collaborate with supplier during DFM, Moldflow and tooling design approvals.
• Verify and approve final component and product design prior to release.
• Communicate with internal interfaces and departments including data transfer.
• Respect time schedule of project, coordinate all necessary activities to guarantee milestones are achieved.
• Support vehicle prototype build activities and coordinate product optimization based on testing feedback.
• Development of Engineering Statement of Work for lighting devices.
• Actively participate in the iterative process with Lucid design/studio team to deliver optimal balance of function, form, and cost.
• Development assembly strategy including guiding, locating, and mounting to vehicle to meet build objectives.
• Interpret CAE simulation from Lucid internal attributes, as well as from tier 1 to integrate necessary product optimizations.

Mechatronics Engineer

• Create detailed CAD models and drawings for products, components, and systems using CAD software
• Manage parts from initial design through prototype phase and into serial production
• Support the creation of engineering documentation, such as Technical Specifications (TES), Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA), and Design Verification Plans (DVP)
• Manage the Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM)
• Manage product life cycle in PLM system
• Support CAD development for individual lighting components, such as injection-molded parts and wire harnesses
• Verify and approve final component and product designs before release
• Communicate with internal interfaces and departments, including data transfer
• Actively participate in the iterative process with the Lucid design/studio team to deliver an optimal balance of function, form, and cost
