About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Train end users on AltaMed technical and clinical systems and applications, including Ambulatory Electronic Health Records, Managed Care Referral System, CRM, Interactive Intelligence, and other technical systems
- Validate and train workflows for AltaMed staff on new or updated core software products for varied audiences
- Train staff using standardized training materials
- Work with the PT on special projects or assignments
- Keep curriculum current with software upgrades and builds
- Serve as a primary credentialed trainer during clinical system implementations under the guidance of the PT and Training Manager
- Complete assigned tasks within the implementation project scope
- Support end users one-to-one in clinics or other healthcare-related environments
- Assist with Tip Sheet development
- Lead designated task force efforts, including strategy outlines, work delegation, follow-up, milestones, goals, project completion, and lessons learned
- Serve as rounding lead over a territory of clinics or one clinic for onsite support
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 3 years of direct progressive experience implementing Electronic Health Records systems in a large healthcare organization is required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in performance improvement, project management, or program management is required
- Previous experience supporting EPIC training and certification programs
- Must be EPIC credentialed in at least 3 applications
- A minimum of 2 years of technical training experience with Epic System to clinical staff, including providers, nurses, MAs, etc., and adult training principles required
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in education, organizational development, or a training-related position is required
- Experience maintaining collaborative relationships with internal personnel, business owners, and stakeholders
- Experience supporting EPIC training efforts at various stages of go-live
- Experience working in a healthcare environment related to clinical and business system applications, training, and education
- Intermediate proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, as well as SharePoint)
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology, biological sciences, education, English, or communications is preferred
- Instruction at a traditional secondary, collegiate, or adult school level, OR 2 years of technical training experience with medical/dental devices preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Program/Project Management experience providing cross-functional coordination is preferred
- Previous experience rolling out complex training programs to a large population (1500+ people) is preferred
- Experience providing thoughtful analysis of the curriculum to provide feedback for improved development of learning outcomes is highly desirable
- Informatics certifications are a plus
- PMP certification is preferred
- Learning Management System experience preferred
