About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide perinatal and newborn education and counseling services through the CPSP.
  • Develop and structure seamless interface among various services to provide easy access to patients.
  • Represent the clinic in all matters dealing with these services.
  • Work closely with Clinic Director, Women’s Health Director, Medical Providers, and Nursing staff to develop and implement goals and objectives of the programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant diploma required from an accredited school.
  • Minimum of one year of OB/GYN experience.
  • Experience with referrals.
  • Training and experience in venipuncture.
  • EHR proficiency.
  • Certification as a Family Planning Health Worker is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, depending on population being served.
  • Valid BLS certification or higher, following AHA or Red Cross guidelines.
