About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for providing clinical services across the life span.
  • Apply psychological/counseling principles in areas like assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, and consultation.
  • Follow a hybrid model to offer therapy across various locations including clinics, schools, and other programs.
  • Responsibilities include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Provide interventions such as individual, group, child, and family therapy focused on problem-solving, cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, coping skills, etc.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and involve in treatment goal definitions and success measures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Master's degree required from a college or university that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) or by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education, or a regional or national institutional accrediting agency that is recognized by the United States Department of Education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish or English and other predominant of the population served, preferred.
  • A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
  • Direct experience with short-term problem-solving treatment (MHIP), cognitive-behavioral therapy, crisis intervention, brief psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, group therapy, child therapy, substance abuse treatment, and behavior modification is preferred.
