About the role

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality localization for video game titles across multiple platforms.
  • Manage budgets, ensure timely invoicing and purchase orders, and prepare detailed financial reports.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and clients, providing clear and timely updates.
  • Facilitate kick-off and post-mortem meetings to refine workflows and improve project outcomes.
  • Oversee the full localization lifecycle, from text to audio to LQA, ensuring cross-service collaboration.
  • Assign and coordinate work among internal teams, external linguists, and language specialists to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Provide regular status reports, flagging risks and tracking project progress.
  • Ensure that all output meets IP-specific requirements, including tone, terminology, and style.

Requirements

  • Exceptional English communication skills both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience managing localization projects, ideally in the video game industry with an agency or game publisher.
  • Experience with AAA developers or major game studios is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with MTPE workflows is also considered an advantage.
  • Experience with audio projects and/or LQA is a real plus.
  • Excellent client-facing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with localization tools (e.g., memoQ), file formats, and standard industry software.
  • Solid understanding of localization best practices.
