About the role
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closing
- Work with Sales Development Reps (SDRs) to convert qualified leads into sales opportunities
- Build and manage a pipeline of CRE industry prospects and decision-makers (CFOs, Controllers, Project Managers, etc.)
- Educate clients on ERP solutions (like Sage Intacct) as modern alternatives to legacy tools like Sage 300 CRE
- Partner with Sales Engineers (SEs) to tailor technical solutions to client needs
- Upsell and cross-sell additional products and services during the customer’s first year
- Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B software sales experience, preferably in ERP or financial systems
- Proven success selling into the construction and/or real estate industry
- Familiarity with Sage CRE, Sage 300 Construction, or similar industry-specific platforms
- Working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
