Implement new features with clean, testable, and well-documented code.
Maintain production systems by monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving incidents.
Refactor and modernize legacy code, reducing technical debt incrementally and safely.
Investigate and fix bugs, identify root causes, and prevent regressions.
Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) as part of the development workflow.
Participate in code reviews, giving and receiving technical feedback constructively.
Use AI-assisted IDEs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate daily work, always critically reviewing generated content.
Manage your own work in a task management tool (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, Linear), keeping status and estimates up to date.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and other teams to refine requirements and propose solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and architecture.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience (5+ years) in software development, with hands-on experience in production systems.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and its ecosystem.
Solid engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, API design, and SOLID principles.
Practical experience with automated testing and a quality-driven culture (TDD/BDD is a plus).
Experience with refactoring and maintaining legacy code.
Proven ability to debug and resolve complex issues, with a focus on root cause analysis.
Proficient with Git and versioning workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
Familiarity with CI/CD and continuous delivery practices.
Experience using AI-assisted IDEs to accelerate tasks, with critical judgment of generated code.
Comfortable working with task managers and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Proactive: anticipates problems, proposes improvements, and takes ownership of deliverables.
