About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Verify and classify incoming invoices, analyzing taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS) and withholdings (ISS, IRRF, INSS and CSRF), fiscal codes, etc., entering the data into the system and coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Perform fiscal bookkeeping using the system
  • Support audits and inspections, under the supervision of the manager
  • File and organize departmental documents
  • Keep up to date with current tax legislation and internally communicate changes relevant to the area
  • Use and take care of company facilities, furniture, equipment, tools and materials, and maintain organization and cleanliness of the workspace
  • Uphold ALS values and follow internal practices and policies in effect
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the department and at the manager's discretion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics (completed or in progress)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems; experience with TOTVS Protheus is a plus
  • Analytical profile, dynamic, team player, sense of urgency, focus on continuous improvement of internal processes, and proactivity
