About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Data Management, Analysis and Visualization team supports projects in the management, integration and reporting of environmental data
We are seeking an Environmental Data Management Analyst to provide technical and operational support for environmental database routines, ensuring quality, traceability and organization of information generated in environmental projects.
Perform loading and validation of environmental data into the database
Execute quality control and assurance checks on data entered into the database
Identify inconsistencies, gaps and opportunities for improvement in environmental data
Support the compilation, organization and integration of data from laboratories, fieldwork and historical databases
Assist in generating reports, tables and data extracts
Support communication with laboratories, consultancies and technical teams involved in the projects
Document deviations and issues identified during the data management process
Assist in creating dashboards and environmental data visualizations
Support activities related to the continuous improvement of data management processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience or knowledge in environmental data management
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Analytical ability to assess inconsistencies and validate data
Knowledge of databases and organization of technical information
Intermediate English
Experience with EQuIS, EDP or related environmental management software is desirable
Knowledge of Power BI
Experience with LIMS
Experience managing contaminated site data
