About the role

  • Provide technical expertise supporting pet food manufacturing processes through all phases of project development and execution
  • Perform VB.NET/C# programming and development
  • Manage SQL databases supporting Production, Quality Assurance, and Accounting Departments
  • Develop, implement and support process control automation projects including HMI development and ERP system customization
  • Develops and implements new VB.net, C#, and Android programs
  • Assist the engineering department in automation projects (HMI programming and process control)
  • Support a schedule-driven 24/7 environment with a strong customer service orientation
  • Travel to plants approximately 5% - 15% for support and implementation

Requirements

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Candidates must be located in one of the following metropolitan areas: Philadelphia, PA; Dallas, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Kansas City, KS; Portland, OR; Vancouver, WA
  • Full stack developer
  • Experience in VB.net or C# programming and development
  • SQL database management
  • ASP.NET
  • Desire and be prepared to grow quickly in very dynamic environment
  • Able to convert initial concepts and desired outcomes into final product in timely and efficient manner
  • Desire to expand skills into process control automation
  • Available to travel 5% - 15% to plants
  • Team player
  • Working knowledge (desirable): Crystal Reports, XML and XSLT, Android Studio
  • Willingness to support a schedule-driven 24 hour / 7 days a week environment
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices and appropriate safety equipment
