Take ownership of developing significant parts of the Onos platform, including user-facing applications and APIs
Lead development of end-user web application used by healthcare administrators and providers
Architect and implement major platform components to provide actionable insights and support workflows addressing fraud, waste, and abuse
Prototype new features and use cases for demos and user feedback
Establish engineering best practices and technical foundations for future team growth and AI-enabled coding
Shape the technical roadmap, make architectural decisions, and influence product and design strategy
Implement functionality related to machine learning pipelines that ingest medical standards, analyze medical records, and automate recommendations for clinical reviewers
Incorporate human-centric AI user experiences to build user trust
Design and implement high-quality user experiences while upholding security and privacy standards
Wear multiple hats as frontend developer, UI/UX designer, and backend developer
Requirements
5+ years professional experience building end-user web applications at product-driven companies
Proficient with web and backend technologies (e.g., React, Python)
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Proficient with TypeScript, NextJS, Tanstack Query, Shadcn UI, Zod, Nuqs
Experience with Python, Django, django-ninja, django-tenants
Experience with PostgreSQL, S3
Experience with AWS (ECS, Bedrock, Cognito, etc.), Docker, Github Actions
High user empathy and ability to develop frontend UI/UX with minimal guidance
Customer obsessed and motivated to make an impact in the healthcare space
Collaborative team player with attention to detail
Bonus: significant experience working with healthcare data and with HIPAA best practices
