About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and individuals
- Prepare complex individual tax returns for business owners, executives, and high-net-worth clients
- Research tax issues and assist with tax planning and consulting projects
- Communicate directly with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Collaborate with partners and senior staff on client engagements and advisory initiatives
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Assist with special tax projects and client consulting engagements
- Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax
- Experience preparing business entity and complex individual tax returns
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while effectively managing priorities
- Must reside within the Eastern or Central time zone
- Candidates with less experience should be available for occasional travel to the Allentown, PA office for training and collaboration
- Highly experienced candidates may qualify for a fully remote arrangement with minimal travel
