About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead field execution across multiple highway and civil infrastructure projects
- Manage and supervise field crews across active job sites
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including:
- - Labor coordination
- - Subcontractor management
- - Safety compliance
- - Field decision-making
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and meet quality standards
- Coordinate with internal teams on project status, budgets, and timelines
- Identify and implement improvements in field efficiency and execution
- Participate in pre-construction planning and project setup
- Support estimating efforts for upcoming bids (up to approximately $4M), as needed
- Travel to job sites as required (overnight travel across regional projects)
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience managing field crews on highway, civil, or heavy infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of DOT-regulated environments, including safety standards, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Ability to balance field leadership with project oversight responsibilities
- Experience in drainage, utilities, guide rail, bridge rail, or concrete demolition is a strong plus
- Estimating experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight as required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
