About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review individual, partnership, S-corporation, and corporate tax returns for accuracy and compliance
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic insight for clients
- Review and adjust QuickBooks financials to ensure tax readiness
- Provide guidance and feedback to a distributed support team
- Communicate directly with clients on tax-related matters
- Help improve internal workflows, review processes, and quality standards
- Operate independently with ownership over deliverables
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong experience reviewing tax returns (not preparation-only)
- Proficiency with UltraTax (Thomson Reuters)
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Knowledge across individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment
- Experience working with offshore or distributed teams is a plus
- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
Benefits
Comp & perks- Salary: $60,000 – $110,000, based on experience
