About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the company’s demand-generation engine, responsible for active prospecting and technical qualification of leads.
  • Analyze the commercial lead database on a daily basis.
  • Organize, clean and classify leads according to potential and profile.
  • Distribute leads to consultants based on defined strategic criteria.
  • Monitor response times and lead utilization.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities in the commercial conversion process.
  • Request quotes for SME health insurance plans from carriers and partner platforms.
  • Support the commercial team in preparing commercial proposals.
  • Conduct multi-channel active prospecting (cold calls, emails and professional networks) to generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads from both inbound and outbound sources by applying the technical criteria defined in the commercial strategy.
  • Map key decision-makers and influencers within the client’s organization, identifying pains and needs before scheduling meetings.
  • Ensure data governance in the CRM by keeping interaction histories and each lead’s information rigorously up to date.
  • Execute the handoff process to the sales team, providing detailed context on qualified opportunities.
  • Monitor performance indicators and funnel metrics to continuously optimize prospecting efficiency.
  • Provide strategic feedback to the Marketing team on lead quality and alignment with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Master sales automation tools and consultative approach techniques to ensure pipeline health and progression.
  • Actively collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment with the company’s growth goals.
  • Identify interest triggers and address initial objections to increase top-of-funnel conversion rates.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) and experience with communication tools (Slack, Zoom, etc.).
  • Experience at brokerages or insurance companies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive).
  • Familiarity with prospecting automation tools (e.g., Apollo, Outreach, RD Station, Lusha, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Basic knowledge of email marketing and automation platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign).
  • Ability to understand the sales funnel and the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Lead qualification techniques (BANT, SPIN Selling, GPCT, among others).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with clear and empathetic argumentation.
  • Ability to handle objections and adapt messaging according to the interlocutor.
  • Organization and discipline for pipeline management and daily targets.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales or in a startup/technology environment is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of agile methodologies and performance metrics (sales KPIs).
