About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the implementation of departmental targets.
  • Communicate local strategies and action plans to achieve goals.
  • Lead, engage and supervise teams in accordance with Alper’s People & Management policies.
  • Participate in selection, retention, training and development of staff.
  • Ensure resources and remove obstacles so teams can deliver expected results.
  • Drive and promote the company culture.
  • Implement Alper policies, processes and procedures.
  • Interface with other company areas.
  • Lead engagement meetings and results reporting with direct reports.
  • Critically analyze department KPIs and propose solutions.
  • Participate in results reporting meetings with Management, Superintendence, Board of Directors and Vice Presidency at Alper.
  • Promote requests for technology improvements.
  • Support the development of new products.
  • Implement marketed products according to Alper standards.
  • Participate in committees and technical meetings with clients.
  • Prepare reports and studies for clients.
  • Create dashboards and tools in Looker.
  • Support strategy to reduce loss ratios using insights from reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related areas; MBA preferred.
  • Relevant experience required.
  • Experience working at brokerages or insurers in risk/health management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of BI and analytics tools.
  • Alper systems: Quiver Pro, Smart Process, Quiver EB.
  • Knowledge of operators’/insurers’ management products and systems.
  • ANS regulations.
