About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Recruit and support new and existing Community Impact Network member organisations across Ireland
  • Build relationships with members through ongoing engagement, training, and promotion of network benefits
  • Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and community programmes online and in person
  • Coordinate the CIN seminar series to strengthen member knowledge, collaboration, visibility, and community impact
  • Develop partnerships with local services, agencies, and community groups to strengthen supports for older people
  • Organise and promote CIN networking events and member engagement activities
  • Contribute to member communications, newsletters, KPI reporting, and programme updates
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting through Salesforce and internal systems
  • Support additional projects and duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with community groups, statutory agencies, volunteers, and older people
  • Experience delivering engaging workshops, presentations, and training sessions online and in person
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking, networking, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to organise events, manage multiple activities, coordinate programmes, and meet deadlines effectively
  • Understanding of challenges facing older people, including loneliness, digital exclusion, ageing in place, and community supports
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, Salesforce or CRM systems, and digital platforms for reporting and engagement
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, track KPIs, prepare reports, and support evidence-based programme delivery
  • Relevant qualification or experience in training, community development, social care, health promotion, adult education, or related fields
  • Full clean driver’s licence and access to a car are essential
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the community
