About the role
- Conduct product demonstrations and address highly technical questions with prospective clients and current customers, both onsite and online
- Actively participate in the sales discovery process
- Collaborate with the Sales organization to understand client needs and present tailored solutions
- Position Alogent products vs competition in highly competitive sales cycles
- Maintain deep knowledge of Alogent products and services and upcoming features
- Support sales cycle by addressing technical questions and concerns
- Prepare for meetings and tailor communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process
- Assist in proposal development, RFP responses and solution architecture
- Stay current on competitive landscape and understanding differentiators between Alogent and its competitors
- Report potential product gaps or potential enhancements to Product Management as they are identified
- Attend conferences as required to evangelize Alogent’s products
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field desired
- Ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience working with financial institutions in a technical sales or pre-sales engineering role
- Strong understanding of banking software, fintech solutions, and financial services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences
- Ability to understand and capture business and technical requirements
- Ability to develop a broad awareness of the client’s technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
- Problem solver who takes initiative to get things done
- Knowledge of strategic, conceptual and consultative selling
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and presentations
