About the role
- Draft initial pleadings and filings, with careful attention to case organization and legal requirements.
- Monitor and manage procedural deadlines, ensuring proper progression of matters.
- Review legal documents to identify information relevant to cases.
- Organize documents and procedural filings to ensure proper preparation of case files.
- Conduct case law research to support the legal grounds of pleadings.
Requirements
- Active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association).
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling judicial and administrative proceedings, including drafting pleadings, defining legal strategies, and rigorous deadline management.
- Highly organized with strong deadline-control skills and a focus on technical quality of deliverables.
- Proficiency with legal tools, case management software, and court electronic systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a technical practice approach and consultative, strategic client service.
- Knowledge and practice in Medical Law, with familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical liability, hospital contracts, and regulatory matters.
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Law is desirable, as well as postgraduate studies in Civil Law and/or Civil Procedure with a focus on practical application.
