About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and own the end-to-end user acquisition strategy for Japan.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze large-scale UA campaigns.
  • Lead in-depth data analysis to optimize campaigns.
  • Drive continuous A/B testing and optimization of creatives.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Product, Localization, Sales, and Data teams.
  • Manage existing ad partner and agency relationships.
  • Stay updated on the latest UA trends and mobile advertising technologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years in mobile user acquisition or performance marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and UA best practices in Japan.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
  • Hands-on expertise with major platforms (Naver, Line, Google Ads, Unity, Moloco).
  • Familiarity with mobile attribution tools (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust).
  • Exceptional analytical skills to interpret large datasets.
  • Strategic ability to formulate comprehensive UA strategies and maintain a hands-on approach .
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide clear reporting.
