About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare, document, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and UAT tests, and, when applicable, non-functional tests.
Develop, maintain, and execute test automation scripts, contributing to the evolution of the automation strategy.
Prepare and manage test data sets and environments for test execution.
Validate functionalities of applications, corporate portals, and CMS solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Identify, log, track, and validate defect fixes, performing retests when necessary.
Analyze evidence and logs to support root cause identification of failures.
Work closely with development, business, architecture, UX/UI teams, and Product Owners to ensure delivery quality.
Ensure test traceability, documentation of evidence, and compliance with quality processes.
Support the definition of acceptance criteria, requirements review, and risk identification.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience validating web applications, preferably corporate portals and CMS solutions.
Experience with test management tools, evidence recording, and defect tracking.
Experience with issue and demand management tools such as Jira or similar.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL for querying, validation, and data analysis.
Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
Desirable experience validating solutions developed on HCL Digital Experience (DX), HCL Web Content Manager (WCM), or other corporate portal platforms.
Knowledge of REST API testing using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
Experience with test automation using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework.
Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python to support analysis, automation, and investigation of failures.
Experience with performance testing using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools.
Ability to analyze logs, identify root causes of defects, and provide technical support to development teams during investigations.
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Knowledge of security testing tools such as HCL AppScan.
