About the role
- Conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys) to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze and interpret research data to generate insights that will guide solution design.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes and interactive navigation flows to illustrate the user journey and design requirements.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts and features with stakeholders and end users.
- Design intuitive, attractive, and functional user interfaces (UI) aligned with company design guidelines and user needs.
- Ensure interfaces offer good usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure effective implementation of design solutions.
- Participate in sprint meetings, reviews, and planning sessions, aligning designs with technical and business requirements.
- Conduct usability tests and heuristic analyses to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Collect feedback from users and stakeholders to iterate and refine designs.
- Create, document, and maintain a consistent Design System, including reusable components, styles, and design guidelines.
- Ensure all designs comply with Design System standards and principles to maintain uniformity across interfaces.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of designs in production, seeking opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Continuously evaluate the user experience and propose solutions that enhance interaction and end-user satisfaction.
- Develop graphical elements such as buttons, icons, typography, colors, and layouts, focusing on both aesthetics and interface functionality.
- Build interactive and valid prototypes for user testing, validate design hypotheses, and adjust designs based on feedback.
- Document and communicate design decisions clearly, providing rationale and implementation guidelines.
- Stay up to date with design and usability trends, ensuring solutions remain aligned with market innovations and user needs.
Requirements
- Experience in interface and user experience design, with a proven portfolio of completed projects.
- Hands-on experience developing interactive prototypes and creating wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs.
- Ability to work in agile environments and integrate design into development sprints, actively participating in product life-cycle stages.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools to create interactive representations of interfaces.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative user research, using methods such as interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Ability to conduct usability tests, interpret results, and adjust designs based on user feedback.
- Experience with responsive design (mobile-first) and creating accessible interfaces, with attention to accessibility guidelines to serve all types of users.
- Knowledge of inclusive design best practices to ensure interfaces are usable by a diverse audience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development, product, and marketing teams to deliver comprehensive, integrated solutions.
- Strong communication skills to explain design concepts and decisions to different audiences, including developers and stakeholders.
- Experience developing and maintaining consistent Design Systems and documenting design guidelines.
- Ability to apply brand guidelines and ensure interfaces align with visual identity and business objectives.
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends and innovations in UX/UI, bringing new concepts to the team.
- Familiarity with user psychology to understand how users interact with interfaces and how to improve their experiences.
- Ability to present and defend design decisions clearly and persuasively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: Certifications in UX/UI or Design Thinking.
- Active participation in design communities or contributions to design open-source projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Design, Visual Communication, or related fields.
