About the role
- Own the go-to-market strategy across Alma’s full product portfolio, shaping long-term vision for positioning, launching, and growing offerings
- Report to the SVP of Marketing and drive transformative change balancing market strategies with operational execution for immediate and sustained growth
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing product marketing team and foster a culture of impact and accountability
- Define the company’s market research priorities and oversee a dedicated product marketing researcher to ensure insights inform innovation and product roadmaps
- Drive cross-functional alignment with leaders across Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations, and CX to champion GTM excellence and create a seamless customer experience
- Measure and optimize impact using performance data and financial insights to guide decisions and allocate resources effectively
- Anticipate and mitigate risks, adapting strategies in response to shifting market conditions, competitive pressures, and emerging opportunities
- Own and lead high-impact strategic initiatives that align with key company objectives, and design scalable content strategies to deepen market penetration and reinforce Alma’s position as an indispensable partner for mental health providers
Requirements
- 10+ years in product marketing and 6+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in healthcare, membership-based businesses, or marketplace contexts (preferred)
- Experience in Product Led Growth (PLG) businesses and/or transitioning from Sales Led Growth (SLG) to PLG
- Experience managing multi-product portfolios and evolving pricing and packaging strategies
- Strategic visionary and operational executor—defining multi-year strategies while ensuring tactical excellence and measurable outcomes
- Exceptional storytelling and cross-functional influencing skills
- Data-driven decision-making leveraging market insights, performance metrics, and financial data
- Experience developing and implementing AI-driven strategies to enhance go-to-market approaches, content creation, and customer insights
- Experience building and scaling teams and culture in marketing organizations
- Highly accountable, growth-minded, adaptable in fast-paced environments
