About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st- and 3rd-party material damage claims
Determine the proper disposition of claims
Apply mastered interpretations of all policy types and assist leadership with formal and ad hoc training
Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files
Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Build relationships with internal and external customers
Create damage estimates for material damage losses of all severities
Conduct fieldwork, virtual claim handling, vehicle inspections, and customer service activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferred experience managing a variety of auto collision claims
Experience conducting vehicle inspections preferred
Experience using CCC ONE or similar estimating software preferred
Mastery of estimating fundamentals
Technical expertise in auto damage appraisal and estimating
Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States
Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments before onboarding and must not hold outside appointments during employment
Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it when instructed by the licensing team
Dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions
Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
Must be able to perform fieldwork, virtual claim handling, and customer service
