About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create comprehensive estimates of damages for first- and third-party material damage claims leading to proper disposition
Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities in complex files
Apply mastered knowledge of company policy types and assist leadership with formal and ad hoc training
Create damage estimates for first- and third-party material damage losses of all severities
Build relationships with internal and external customers
Handle claims virtually and in the field within the LAX area
Conduct vehicle inspections and work closely with repair facilities and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience managing a variety of auto claims
Experience conducting vehicle inspections
Experience using CCC ONE estimating software
Ability to prepare accurate damage estimates
Auto estimating knowledge
Auto insurance claims knowledge
Business acumen
Business administration or business management knowledge
Process consulting knowledge
Relationship management skills
Must possess authorization to work in the United States
Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate existing appointments before onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment
Applicants with a resident producer license seeking an adjuster role must surrender that license when instructed by the licensing team
Work-from-home setup requires a dedicated, private workspace
